You may have come across a Pokemon with Egg Moves while battling with out noticing.
Egg Moves are moves inherited by Pokemon hatched form eggs.
These Egg Moves are moves that arn't naturaly learn't or moves that can not be taught.

--------------------Egg Moves--------------------

----Getting Pokemon with Egg Moves----

While breeding with a Male and Female Pokemon (Not using Ditto) Pokemon can learn Egg Moves.
While what Pokemon it will be comes from the Mother's side Moves are from the Farthers side.
To cross while breeding you need a Female of the Pokemon you want and a Male with Moves you want it to learn. Simply get the egg they produe and hatch it.

----Notes---

Pokemon have a set list of Egg Moves they can inherit, if the Pokemon you hatch hasn't gotten the move it means that the Pokemon can not learn it. Also, HM Moves can pass from the Mother or Farther. If you want a Baby with no HM moves you'll have to get a Female and Male with-out HM Moves.

Also, the apssing of moves is not 100% so try again!

Whe you've bred your Pokemon and got the egg it can sometimes seem like for ever for it to hatch. So here are a tip or two on getting them to hatch quicker.

--------------------Hatching--------------------

-----Tip 1-----
Using abillities of other Pokemon you can speed the hatching prosess along a bit. The two abillities that will speed the prosess up are;
-Flame Body
-Magma Armor

Examples of Pokemon;
-Magby (Flame Body)
-Magcargo (Magma Armor)

-----Tip 2-----
To make the prosess even faster use a bike!
The time it takes for the egg to hatch is mesured (usually) by how many steps you walk, (or in this case, ride...)
Find a nice open line that you constantly ride up and down with no problem and you'll get that Pokemon hatching quickly.
----------------------------------------

Using both of these methords you can hatch your eggs quicker.
(Time taken for each Pokemon to hatch varieis.)

In this Part I'll be explaining how you breed Pokemon that have no gender and telling you how to breed a Phione from a Manaphy!

--------------------Pokemon With No Gender--------------------
So, you got the basic idea of egg groups. But what about these Pokemon that have no Gender?! The solusion is quite simple.

Ditto (Ditto Group,) is able to breed with Pokemon with no gender. (Pokemon like Bronzong.)
The list of no gender Pokemon that can breed with Ditto is as listed:
-Magnemite
-Electrode
-Porygon
-Lunatone
-Claydol
-Metagross
-Magnezone
-Magneton
-Staryu
-Porygon 2
-Solrock
-Beldum
-Bronzor
-Porygon-Z
-Voltorb
-Starmie
-Shedinja
-Baltoy
-Metang
-Bronzong
-Rotom
----------------------------------------

So, no gender Pokemon sorted. But another little Pokemon that can breed is Manaphy.

------------------Breeding A Phione------------------
It's simple. Put a Ditto and a Manaphy in Day-Care and wait for the egg, then hatch.

If you want to breed Pokemon it's vital that you know about egg groups.
In this part I'll be listing all the egg groups and giving advice on how to breed a Pichu that knows the move Volt Tackle!
--------------------Egg Groups--------------------

Each Pokemon is put into a group, if the Pokemon are in the same group they'll breed with each other.
But it's not that simple, Pokemon can be from 2 egg groups and it's not only the egg groups that determin whether or not they'll breed.
As well as groups NATURE can play a part.

The Egg Groups are as listed:
- No Eggs (This is a group where in, none of the Pokemon listed can breed with any other. This group contains Legenries and some other Pokemon such as Bonsly, Riolu, Pichu and Igglybuff.)
- Bug Group
- Plant Group
- Flying Group
- Human-Like Group
- Fairy Group
- Monster Group
- Dragon Group
- Mineral Group
- Field Group
- Amorphous Group
- Water Group 1
- Water Group 2
- Water Group 3
- Ditto Group (This is the only group where it can breed with any other group, exsept the No Eggs Group. The only Pokemon this has in it is Ditto.)
----------------------------------------

As I menshioned earler, Egg Group isn't the only thing that breeding depends on. Nature can play a big factor too, but fortunetly, they don't tend to clash. When they do, it can take a while for them to breed. To check they get along talk to the Man infount of the Day-Care, he'll comment on how well there doing and also says if they get along.

--------------------Pichu with Volt Tackle!--------------------
Volt Tackle is an inherited Egg Move (More on egg moves in another part) that can only be inherited when an item is being held.

To get a Pichu with this move:
-Get a female Pikachu (Fariry and Field Group)
-Get a male Pokemon from the Fariy or Field Group, a good Pokmon to get is Cherrim.
-Get the Pikachu to hold a Light Ball, (an item sometimes held by wild Pikachu.)
-Put in Day-Care and wait.
-Hatch the egg and you should have a Pichu with the move.
(In the prosses the item disappers, this is the same for all items used while breeding. Please note: That not all items are used in breeding and it's only a very select group that needs and item in order to breed. (More on holding items during breeding in another part.)

The title says it all!
Using a Focus Sash and some ordanary move the little starling took down the origonal one!

Note: This is not my vidio!
What happened?!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So you (may have) watched the vidio, could you figure out what happened?

The run down:
- Arceus uses the move Jugment on the little Starly, Starly hung on using the held Focus Sash! (Now has 1Hp)
-Starly used Endervor, (cuts the fies Hp doen to the same amount as the user). It's a heavy blow and leave Arecus with Hp!
-Starly then launches a Quick Attack to take down the Alpha Pokemon!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, with a little technice the Lv.1 Pokemon was able to take down something in a 1 on 1 battle.
(Obviosly, the Starly was breed and got these moves though that as out there Starly wouldn't have them!)
